Welcome to KIDO Ecological Research Station (KERS) and the YWF-KIDO Foundation, a non-profit, non governmental organization. Our primary mission: To preserve the natural ecosystems, arts, heritage, and encourage sustainable development of the Southern Grenadines through environmental education, social development, scientific research and eco tourism.

KERS is located at approximately 12N Latitude and 61.5°W Longitude on the northwest side of Carriacou Island, part of the tri-island nation of Grenada, West Indies. The area is considered to be one of the most bio diverse in the Caribbean. Its proximity to unexplored islets and cays make it an ideal base for researchers, students, and eco tourists alike. Historically located below the "hurricane belt," Carriacou is an ideal place to visit any time of the year.
